Defeat Bad Breath Naturally

In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), bad breath is most often a sign of Heat in the body- especially in the Stomach. 

Other signs you might experience: 

  1. Thirst especially for cold drinks

  2. Frontal headaches

  3. Gum swelling, pain, bleeding or mouth ulcers

  4. Constant hunger

  5. Constipation

  6. Nausea, vomiting or belching after eating

  7. Acid reflux

  8. Stomach discomfort or ache

  9. Dry mouth and lips

  10. Improper sleep

Try these:

  1. Getting proper sleep (ex. eight hours a night or don’t sleep too late)

  2. Eat at regular hours (ex. don’t eat past 7 pm)

  3. Don't over eat or eat too fast

  4. Try adding these to your diet:

    • Celery

    • Carrot

    • Apple

    • Cilantro

    • Parsley

    • Spinich

    • Strawberry

    • Banana

    • Cucumber

    • Green Tea

    • Water

    • Sugarless Gum

    • Spices such as rosemary and Sage

  5. Avoid these in your diet:

    • Hot, greasy, fried food (Ex. curry, chilli, garlic/onions, chips etc.)

    • Caffeine, alcohol, carbonate drinks

  6. Acupuncture

  7. Herbs

    • Such as Liquorice roots, Peppermint, and Longan Berries to name a few..
